KS2 Results 2015

KS2 Results 2014 - Huge improvement in writing this year

81% of pupils achieved L4+ in all of reading, writing and maths (above the national level of 79%).  For core pupils who were at Stanhope for the whole of year 5 and year 6 this percentage was 86% (7% above the national figure).

Why is the figure for pupils who have been at Stanhope for the whole of year 5 and year 6 relevant?  Stanhope has a high turnover of pupils and children who are at the school for 2 years or more do very well when compared to national standards.

The following table shows that for pupils who attended Stanhope throughout Y5 and Y6, 86% achieved a L4 or above in all of reading, writing and maths.  This is 7 percentage points above the national figure.

Percentage of children achieving expected and more than expected progress

The following table shows the percentage of pupils who made expected progress (2 or more national curriculum levels from Y2 to Y6) or more than expected progress (3 or more national curriculum levels from Y2 to Y6).  Stanhope was just below the national % in expected progress for maths but was above the national % in all other areas.  9% more pupils made more than expected progress when compared to the national average.
