You have several choices:
Universal Free School Meals for KS1 and Pupil Premium. As from September 2014 all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal at lunchtime. This offer does not depend on your household income or whether you receive any benefits. To register your child for a free school meal a School Meals Registration Form must be completed. This is available from the school office.
Paid school dinners. The children can have a school meal at a cost of £2.30 per day. Money must be paid in advance either send it on the first day of each week in the envelope provided by the catering company or pay online through Ealing meals website (the link for this is on our website). School meals are cooked on the premises and are excellent value for money.
Free school dinners. Parents on certain benefits may be able to apply for free school meals. If you would like further information please go to the school office. Our office staff can complete the application for you on your behalf. From April 2014 school gets an extra £1300 for each child entitled to free school meals so even if you don’t want to take advantage of the meal it is still important to register.
Home dinners. You can take your child home for the lunch period. However, we do recommend that children have lunch in school as this allows them to develop important social skills.
Packed lunches. Your child can bring a healthy lunch from home. Please put your child’s name on any container and make sure that the top of any drinks bottle is on tightly to stop it from leaking. No glass bottles, fizzy drinks, nuts or sweets are allowed.
