Inclusion Quality Mark – Centre of Excellence & DfE Showcase School
At Stanhope Primary School, inclusion is not an initiative—it is our identity. Our sector-leading work has been recognised through our Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) Centre of Excellence status, which we have proudly held since July 2023.
This accolade reflects a school where inclusion, equity and belonging are not aspirational, but lived experiences for every child. As highlighted in our latest review, Stanhope is “an exceptional and truly inclusive setting where the vision and ethos are deeply embedded and lived by everyone” .
We are unwavering in our belief that:
- Every child thrives
- Every child achieves excellence from their starting point
- Every child feels a deep sense of belonging
This is the embodiment of our mission: Empowering Every Heart, Inspiring Every Mind.
Our work extends beyond our own school. In 2026, we were selected to host a Department for Education RISE Showcase, welcoming colleagues from across London to learn from our approach to inclusion, equity and attainment. The overwhelmingly positive feedback reflects the impact of our work—not only on outcomes, but on the lived experiences of our pupils.
Stanhope stands as a beacon of what is possible when inclusion is intentional, uncompromising and deeply rooted in values.
