VE Day 2020

Picture 1

On Friday 8th May, people all over the UK and in other countries of the world will turn their thoughts and attention to the 75th anniversary of VE day. At 9am The Queen will address the nation and there will be a live stream on BBC – which is the exact same time that her father, King George VI, spoke to the UK 75 years ago, on the actual VE Day.

This very important and historical day, back in 1945, marked the end of World War II in Europe. We would like you all to take part in some VE day learning. We have put together a whole range of activities for you to try and our project planner will help you decide what to do! There is something for all ages so have a go and don’t forget to share your learning with your class teachers – we’d love to see what you’ve been doing!

PROJECT PLANNER! Open this first to help you decide what to do!

PE - Dance

Why not practise some dance moves from during the war?
